Brisbane Ranges National Park
Located only a few kilometres from the centre of Meredith, the Brisbane Ranges National Park offers excellent opportunities for pleasant bushwalks, picnics, scenic drives, wildflower and bird studies and historical investigations. The historic town of Steiglitz is just 10km from Meredith.

Camping
There are many 'free' camping locations withing the Meredith region. For more information visit the Parks Victoria website.
Swimming
The nearby Moorabool River, provides some great swimming spots. Coopers Bridge and Slate Quarry Road a favourites amongst the locals. A little further out of town is another great spot in Morrisons.
Horseriding
Meredith is the perfect location to enjoy a horse ride in the natural bush setting.
Fishing
Nearby Moorabool River, has a variety of fishing spots to spend your day relaxing.
Rockclimbing
There are some challenging climbs just out of the township, along the Moorabool River. For more information, visit this link.
